My name is Damodar Dahal, and I come from Sablakhu, Taplejung, Nepal. I am a Global South scholar, pursuing a Masters of Liberal Arts (ALM) degreen in International Relations from Harvard University Extension School. Besides, I am also working as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon Web Service (AWS).

My academic interests include development economics, postcolonial and decolonial theories, and neocolonialism. I have written about modern slavery in critical mineral supply chains, the IMF as an institution of neocolonialism, and such. Currently, I am pursuing my Master's thesis in the study of the potential of BRICS in assisting in value addition in the manufacturing sector across the Global South.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Southeastern Louisiana University.
